Renee Williams has been performing on stage and screen since 1985. Renee studied acting at The Theater Lab in Washington, D.C.. She has starred in four movies: The Land of the Blessed (Mother Silva, available on Amazon Prime and Tubi), The Princess Killers (Aunt Kim, available on Tubi), No Currency for the Dead (Ms. Little, available on Amazon Prime), and Crystal City: The Last Cut (Lady T, available on Tubi and Amazon Prime). She also starred in four stage plays: Run Dat Stunt" (Lacretia, Cagedbird Productions), Gay Soulfood (Brenda, Cagedbird Productions), Gay Love Jones (Beverly, Cagedbird Productions), and Gay Best Man (Deaconess Shelby DeShawn, Cagedbird Productions), and now adding Woes of Forgiveness (Momma Peach, Powellhouse Productions).

Renee recently joined the national recording gospel choir, Nadja Scott & Devine Anointing, and has sang at the Stellar Awards, as well as TV shows: Gospel Superfest and Bobby Jones Presents, backing artists such as Dorinda Clark Cole and Jekalyn Carr.

She is also an author with a published book titled The Weight of the World (available on Amazon) and an entrepreneur who sells custom made t-shirts, tote bags, makeup bags, scented candles, room sprays and lip gloss, which can be purchased on her website https://thewilliamscollection.square.site.
